The East Coast State of Mind

The East Coast State of Mind

We spend so much of our lives chasing beauty somewhere else. We save up, we fly far, and we stand in front of someone else's coastline completely in awe of it - taking the photos, telling everyone about it when we get home.

Meanwhile, the same kind of wonder is sitting at the end of our own street. The headland we drive past every morning. The estuary where the river meets the sea. The birds, the banksias, the rock pools at low tide. We've just stopped noticing.

Recognise it. Protect it. Be proud of it.

We genuinely believe the East Coast is one of the best places in the world to live. Not because it's louder or flashier than anywhere else - but because it's quietly, ridiculously beautiful, and it's ours. The things that make it special are worth recognising, worth protecting, and absolutely worth being proud of.

We travel far and wide to appreciate the beauty of other places - and forget how much of it we already have at home.

That's the state of mind Malu is built around. Slow down. Look up. Notice the place you're standing in. Whether you grew up here or just feel at home by the water, this is an invitation to share in that - and to wear it with a bit of pride.
